Sorry these guys had a bad experience but I've bought from them twice (once in February and the second time in September; both times went really well.
I dropped my son off at Challenge Accepted in the Stratford Square mall and had wandered into Omars Home Furniture because of the very cool setups that they have on display. They have very unique pieces in this store which sets it apart from your more traditional and/or chain stores. The gentleman assisting me was patient and knowledgeable about the items I was looking at. All of these things combined will make this my first destination when I am looking for new pieces in my home
First time I went I got a King Size bed with storage; the sales guy Paul took the time to figure out what features I wanted and size then found me 3 options. Even when I was not quite happy with the ones he found, he figured out I was worried about space in the room so he found a storage bed! Told me up front I'd wait a bit longer as it was a new item but worth it. The manager was cool when I had to change the delivery time TWICE cause of my work schedule changes...very accommodating. Did I mention how patient he was in helping me figure out what I wanted and even steered me towards a lower priced item because it worked better for me! I'll be back when I get a larger place.
I had a great experience here the two times I bought from them!
In February I bought a bed set and had it in a week in a half, delivered and set up (the delivery guys even took out my old mattress to the trash, something I WASN'T looking forward to doing! And in September I had to replace a sectional and the the salesman was very helpful in figuring out what style my wife and I both would like and kept my budget.
Will be back when my tax refund hits!
I am currently in a battle with this furniture store. I just read the review below. THEY did NOT Deliver, or even order the appropriate things. This company is unethical. I kept my end- I should of read the reviews before getting so excited and forking up my Cards. My total for ALL my furniture was approximately $6500. I bought a living room set ( Couches & 3 tables ), King size bedroom set ( 2 night stands, kind bed, king mattress, vanity desk), another double bunk bed, glass Kitchen table with 6 chairs, Large Carpet. I was promised delivery at the appropriate time. I had a new apartment ready and empty for my new furniture. They lagged on delivery, and only delivered my bedroom set (WRONG MATTRESS) and on couch. Then they said they would have it delivered Friday, no call and no furniture delivered. Then they moved it to the next week Tuesday. STILL NO CALL and NO FURNITURE. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! YOU WILL GET SCREWED, AND HAVE A GOOD LAWYER! They are UNETHICAL, DON'T DELIVER, and TELL LIES. Turned out to be hell. My mother is sick and my brother is physically disabled, so you can imagine what its like with no beds. Not to mention I missed two days of work because they were suppose to deliver and DID NOTHING!
Liars and thieves is the best way to describe these folks. They don't deliver anything when they say they will, and they show up missing half the items without telling you ahead of time that not everything is being delivered. Zero communication, they will never call when they say they will and getting any answers is like pulling teeth. They LIE, period. Was told the weather was to blame for no delivery as promised..then finally after 3 more calls the truth comes out that they never even ordered all the furniture. The owner goes out of town for several months at a time and leaves minimum wage employees that know nothing in charge. Record keeping is non existent and dishonest..they claimed they didn't order some items because I never picked them out, yet the items are on my invoice! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.
